Cold Front

There is a cold front on its way here. I like how you can just tell this is happening just by looking at the temperatures for the week. Haha. I'm a nerd, I know.

Here is the cold front on its way:

Map of the US!

You can see the cold front is that big blue line with the triangles. All that rain along it will come through, looks like they are saying this afternoon, and after it will be COLD WEATHER! Why you ask? Well...for one it's a freakin COLD front. And also, the jet stream is dipping down, to the right of it, is usually warmer temperatures, and to the left of it are colder temperatures. Here is a picture from the front page of weather.com:

Jet Stream.

So, get ready for it to be cold!

Today the high is 70...tomorrow the high is 59!

UPDATE!!!: Here are a few pictures from today of this cold front. One of about 30-45 minutes before the sky let loose, and one shortly after it stopped raining!

Before the rain, thunder, lightening, and wind. On campus around 2:30.

After all that stuff, with a few sprinkles. It got rather cool, too. This is by the New River Valley Mall around 6:30.

See? The front is now passed us! And look at that high behind it! Yay! It's going to warm back up to the 80s by next week! :-)
