Sun Dog!

I came home from work today, and there was a pretty sun dog, so I of course I to take pictures!!!

Sun dog is to the right of the sun.

See? There it is!

Another shot of it.

Close up!!!

It's been VERY windy and COLD

It's definitely winter. It took a little while to get here, but it is definitely here. It has been cold, windy, and snowy. But we haven't had some real accumulation. Maybe a little every now and then, but not too much, which is what we want!

Dark snow clouds behind Burruss. This was right before it really started snowing.

Wind blowing the Virginia flag. It was VERY windy.

Wind blowing the American flag, still at half staff from President Ford dieing.

Trying to capture the snow against Kevin's black coat. It was coming down pretty good.

Bonfire

Since the weather was conducive to having a bonfire tonight, my boyfriend's mom had one at her house to get rid of a lot of brush.

The bonfire.

Dan and Denny getting it to burn burn burn!

Just another shot of it.

Daniel on his tri-cycle with his "tare pen."

After a lot of work, they got a stump turned over on the bonfire. They've been trying to get it to burn for years.

Atlanta for the Chick-fil-a Bowl

Again...I am quite late with these, oh well! :-P

Virginia making sure no one will poop in the bathroom on the bus.

Hope he didn't...

Sitting around talking while everyone else is going to the bathroom. This is Ende.

And this is Travis.

He kept trying to give me Cheez-its. I don't like them!!! Oh, and this is Aaron.

Random picture...it just happened, haha.

Virginia got something to drink while at the bus stop.

Aaron the Monkey.

Hokie Bird telling a bull dog to sit.

8 am practice in the Georgia Dome.

After practice, the bones wait around to practice for the parade.

The Georgia Dome. The view of it on our way back to the hotel after practice.

We passed the gold topped Capital building, too.

Westin hotel when we finally got to go out and about on the city.

I just thought this was a cool shot.

These sky walks are all over the place.

I thought this was cool, it reflecting the clouds.

Christmas Tree in Atlanta.

Light on the tree. (Just having some fun with the Macro setting, haha)

The famous Georgia Aquarium.

I told you they were everywhere.

This one went diagonal between buildings. About one story above us...you know, i'd HATE to have to go down one floor, across the street, and then back up one floor. *shakes head*

The hotel we stayed at. We almost got to stay at the Omni. But...apparently they don't know how to house 400+ marching band members and cheerleaders.

Sunsetting on the way to Celebration at the Station.

Christmas tree at Celebration at the Station.

Kevin and I on top of the Westin. The flash covers up any of the city behind us. But we were 70-some stories up.

Georgia Dome from up in the Westin.

Yet another Christmas tree. This one is blue!

Neat fountain.

Kevin playing in it.

Waiting for the parade to start. It was drizzly, foggy, and generally gross.

Bones standing around waiting for the parade to start. We got there way too early.

Waiting for some FOOD.

Oh the way to the Fanfest.

Blow up cow at the Fanfest.

Kevin and I at the fanfest.

Us preforming at the fanfest.

Georgia Dome before the game. (Pictures from this view are taken by Kevin, where he was sitting.)

Marching Virginians pre-game, the Commonwealth of Virginia. I'm on the bottom of the state, third from eastern shore.

Marching Virginians spelling out H-O-K-I-E-S HOKIES! I'm in the "H."

VT! I must say, not our best one...but we had already had a long day at this point. And it's only pre-game!

Where we were sitting. I'm in the middle somewhere in there.

View from where I was sitting.

My section watching the game.

Playing a song.

Some guy brought his own lunch box. Didn't help any. :-/

Kevin came to visit me! :-)

Half time - Marching Virginians playing "Runaway."

HOKIE POKIE!!!!!!!!!

That thing would just fly around the dome. I don't know where it would come from though. Haha.

We ended up losing. But it was still a fun experience anyway. Hopefully we'll go all the way next year! Apparently Virginia Tech is ranked 7th in the pre-season poles? So let's hope next year is fantastic!!!
