Trip to Pandapas Pond

Kevin and I went to Pandapas Pond on Sunday, because it's been so beautiful out. So here is just a bunch of pictures from that!

Fun reflections. You'll see lots of pictures like this. The water was just so calm. It was really neat. :-)

In the sky? or in the water? We might never know...:-P

Flipping.

Sun behind the trees behind the bridge.

Awesome picture I think. I should of taken it in wide screen.

Reflection of a pine tree.

Little water fall.

Ripples in the water from ducks. Taken by Kevin. :-)

Fun sky. Slight sun dog to the right of the pine tree.

Curved contrail.

Mini waterfall.

Lone duck.

Looking straight up.

Goose expecting food from me.

Geese eating.

Sun setting.

Sunset with sky.

A little further down the path.

And even a little more down the path.

Looks like tire tracks in the water.

Reason for that reflection.

Tree with sunsetting behind it.

Down the wooded path...

Lines in the clouds behind the tree.

Weird bend tree...

Me with the tree. (taken by Kevin)

Me and Kevin with the tree. (taken by nice lady who was passing by)

Sunset from 460.

Nice Game Day!

I woke up and wunderground told me that it was 30 degrees out here. I was annoyed, because that meant I had to dress warm when it was going to get a lot warmer later. When I got to the field, it was covered in frost, but that quickly melted and the temperature ended up doubling plus. It was a cloudless day, and we won 17-0 against our in-state rivals Virginia. Who, is not bowl eligible thanks to us! :-D Anyway, here are some pictures!

Sunrise over the frosty field.

The only blemish in the beautiful blue sky.

Sunset on a Nice Day

There was a pretty sunset last night. So on my way to have dinner with Kevin at D2, of course I took pictures! :-)

A little before 5 yesterday evening.

From the window of D2.

After we ate.

Nice Day Turned Stormy

Yesterday was GAMEDAY here in Blacksburg. VT vs. Kent State. We WON 23-0!!! YAY!

Anyway, since the game was a tad boring, the weather was very interesting to watch.

The day started out so beautiful. It was warm and barely any clouds in the sky.

Listening to Dave. Note the shorts, t-shirts, no one cold in the middle of NOVEMBER!!!
Kevin blocking the sun.
Lane stadium behind everyone getting ready for GAMEDAY!
Sun peaking over Lane.
Fly over.
Clouds over Lane.
Another shot.

And then...the clouds started to move in...

Uh oh! Storm clouds all of a sudden show up.
Dynamic clouds overhead.

A view of the scary clouds over the field!
Another view.
And one more.

Luckily the rain held off to about 15-20 minutes after the game, enough time to get to the car! Haha. There was a lot of lightening and rain associated with the storm. But I was inside for the rest of it! :-)

Last 100 visits...mapped out!

Posting my blog on wunderground.com has really boosted visits here! I love how I can see where all the visits come from. And I can have them mapped out for me. So I got it to show me the last 100.

Then I did my best to share it:

Red is the last visit (probably me), green are the last 10, and white are the rest. Awesome! :-)

Eye-Popping Standstorms: Is There Enough H2O to Cleanup After They've Hit?

You've just had a nice cold shower, put on clean clothes, and sat down and began eating a tasty, hot meal when the weatherman announces on the intercom "Sandstorm!". Poking your head out the cafeteria's window your eyes are greeted with, and much to your dismay, either the King Kongs of the Sandstorm family, or, the sense that you're now on Mars!

**Note: I would never go and take a picture of a sandstorm...I would be where the sand can not get to me. My eyes would hate me forever if I stayed outside to take a picture! Haha. Enjoy :-)***
